Open back tops are my absolute favorite! I love the subtle sexiness showing a little skin in the back creates. My friends tell me “that’s a Sianne top” when they come across open back tops and dresses.
I think there is something so classic about these types of tops. As a lover of low backs, I had my already low back wedding dress lowered to show off more back. I guess you can say I’m a sucker for a top that can provide a wow affect without giving away too much 😉

THE BREEZY, OPEN BACK TREND
Open back tops have been my go-to for years. I wore a fun, flirty open back top for our engagement photos, a customized low back dress for our wedding and will instantly love a top because of it’s open back design. As soon as I picked up this Open Back Muscle Top at Nordstrom’s during the anniversary sale, my first thought was “this is cute”, as soon as I saw the open back “I love it, I have. to. have. it.”
For me, open back tops are always in season (that’s how much I love them!), but this fall is a perfect time to join in on the fun! With the summer heat still lingering here in South Florida, open back tops are still a possibility. This easy, breezy design was a favorite for this year’s New York Fashion Show. The open design is a great way to continue to transition to fall.
Although we had a touch of cooler weather this weekend, the temperatures immediately climbed back up to the high 80s. And for those who are north, tt may be a little too cold to bear skin with an open back top (at least it is for this Florida gal!), the south still has some time to rock this trend a little while longer.
