Design a Blog using Bluchic Themes

One of the biggest pain points I constantly hear from creative entrepreneurs is how to design a blog or website, especially when they’re just starting out. They typically use Wix or a native website builder to design their sites, and while those may be okay to get their first site launched, they quickly outgrow this type of site. Eventually, looking for something a bit more robust, without the price tag of a fully customized site. Sound familiar?

You may be shaking your head in agreement with me, totally in the same boat. Well, girl, I got you.

Learn how to design a blog using beautiful feminine WordPress themes from Bluchic!

I believe in making things happen, simply, and affordably. And, I only want to share with you what I know works, and has worked for me.

Design a Blog with Bluchic Themes

Enter Bluchic, an amazing husband and wife team, that designs feminine WordPress themes, for the female entrepreneur and blogger, going from hobby to serious business.

I cannot even begin to express my love for their beautiful designs. I originally found Bluchic just before getting married, and designed our wedding website off of their free theme, Adele. This was in 2012 or 2013, their themes were easy back then, but not nearly as easy-to-use and user friendly as it is today. I did a completely customized site, going into the code, overriding template designs and making it my own. At the time, I had minimal knowledge about site design, and cried when I lost it all because I didn’t create a child theme for all of my custom code. I know, I know, if you’re familiar with site design, you’re probably shaking your head, thinking what a rookie mistake, well it was. And trust me, I learned from it.

Now, when I use their themes, it is a completely different experience, one that is perfect for you, the creative entrepreneur looking to update your website or blog, on your own. One of the many reasons I love Bluchic is because of the shortcodes included into the theme, making it super easy to create beautiful touches throughout your site, like buttons that change color when you hover over it, and inserting a slideshow on any page.

Even if you’re a novice WordPress user, their themes are built to be easy-to-use and intuitive, making it simple to design a blog. No coding knowledge or web-design skills necessary.

Another reason I am in love with Bluchic, is because of their support. I initially wanted to provide step-by-step instructions for using their themes, but they already have great tutorials and documentation, it just didn’t make sense to recreate the same thing.

For detailed tutorials on uploading your theme to WordPress, to changing the color of your theme, click here. They even provide ticket support and Andrew is so helpful and kind, regardless of how silly or standard your question may be!

Bluchic themes only work with WordPress.org, meaning you need a third-party hosting company, this post will help you get your hosting and WordPress installation done in 15 minutes!
